Abstract:
Three different coal samples which include the original coal sample, the coal sample treated by methane desorption and the coal sample treated by methane were selected, theirs spontaneous combustion characteristic parameters were studied through programmed heating experiment. The influence laws of gas on the characteristic parameters of coal spontaneous combustion during the period of oxidation and spontaneous combustion was drew by analyzing the oxygen consuming velocity, carbon monoxide producing velocity, carbon dioxide producing velocity and the exothermic intensity under different coal temperatures, which revealed an inhibition effect of gas on coal spontaneous combustion.
