In order to accurately study the influence area of coal seam gas pressure relief of surface borehole drainage, and provide a reliable basis for the reasonable arrangement of surface borehole, it studied the stress distribution along the working face in 13-1
# seam dip direction through the simulation experiment. Based on the comprehensive survey of tracer technique, it obtained the gas drainage influence area of surface borehole pressure relief. The results showed that under the protective layer mining conditions, the surface borehole drainage area of north central 3 mining area was 160 m above in the tilt direction, which was 240 m above in toward direction.
