Abstract: In order to prevent and reduce coal mine roof accidents, Shanxi Coal Group Sihe Coal Mine carefully analyzes many factors causing roof fall accidents in bolting roadway. Starting from the production practice, the coal mine gradually build up a more scientific roof management system, and the core of the system contains quality assurance system, roof monitor assurance system and roof management responsibility system. Through years of rigorous implementation, the system is extremely effective in reducing the occurrence of roof accidents, which provides solid assurance in the mine safety.
