In order to study the effect of ionic liquids on coal oxidation reaction dynamics, average activation

A of the ionic liquids un-pretreated and pretreated coal was calculated by using the heat releasing rates based on thermal analysis experiments. According to the temperature change with the activation energy, the results show that the oxidation reaction activation of coal pretreated by AOEmimBF
4,AmimCl,EmimAC three kinds of ionic liquids is faster than the coal un-pretreated in low temperature stage, and the reaction activation of coal pretreated by other ionic liquids is low. The ionic liquids weankened the oxidation sensitivity of coal. BmimOTf has better suppressing effect for coal oxidation activation due to its high active energy and low sensitivity for temperature.
