Abstract:
For the loess high step slope of Anjialing Open-pit Mine, field engineering geological survey, mechanical tests and stability analysis were used to evaluate the stability of loess high step slope. According to the field engineering geological survey and rock properties, choosing XP
1 and XP
2 profiles from 9 800~10 050 section in the North of Anjialing Open-pit Mine, the whole stability coefficient of typical loess high step slope do not meet the safety requirements of reserve coefficient. Through analyzing various factors, the treatment method of slope cutting and reducing weight is determined. The stability coefficients after treating 1.310 and 1.241 respectively, which meets the requirements of safety reserve coefficient.
