Abstract:
Volatile matter content of coal is one of the main factors influencing the minimum ignition temperature of coal dust cloud. The dust cloud minimum ignition temperature measurement system was used to measure the minimum ignition temperature of 7 kinds of volatile coal. The results showed that under the best ignition's condition, the flame statuses of the coal dust clouds with different volatiles were not the same. But the burning flame types still cannot be classified only based on the magnitude of volatiles. With the increasing of the dust injection pressure, the minimum ignition temperature of coal dust cloud decreases firstly and increases subsequently. With the increasing of coal dust quality, the minimum ignition temperature of coal dust cloud also appears to decrease at first and then increase. As the volatile increases, coal dust cloud minimum ignition temperature has a downward trend in general.
