Abstract: First of all, the necessity of constructing the safe and effective mining mode in old mines and resource integrated coalmines is discussed. Then the old mines and resources integrated coalmines are defined, as well as the concepts and connotations of safe and effective mining. Based on above, the basic connotation and characteristics of the safe and effective mining mode in old coal area and resources integrated coalmines are put forward, as well as the systematic and elementary analysis of 3 dimensions of aim, path and type. Finally the effectiveness and functions of the mode are provided with Pingdingshan Coal & Shenma Group as an example.
