Abstract: Combined with the example of W2-713 working face in Xiaoqing Coal Mine, it introduced the influence of open cutting section form of plow face on the initial mining, and summarized some experience and practice in the actual production process. From the design of cutting section, it focused on the analysis of construction method, technical requirements and support parameters, and proposed the change program of cutting section form, thus provided the reliable basis for the design of open cutting section in plow face under similar geological conditions.
