Abstract:
In order to obtain goaf flow field distribution in U-type fully mechanized mining face, the study established a two-dimensional goaf physical model according to the actual situation of 11124 working face, FLUENT software and adaptive mesh refinement techniques is used to study the model. Simulated working surface airflow field distribution agrees with the measured data, which verified the reasonableness of the numerical simulation result. The simulative results show that the main air leakage district of coalface is within the range 0 to 20 m, and some air flow backs to the coalface in this district, but most of the air flow backs to the coalface within 140 to 160 m. The goaf wind contours are not symmetrical in the gradient direction; in the strike direction of the goaf, the air flow velocity is decreasing gradually.
