Abstract:
Ground stress is one of the important influencing factors to the roadway surrounding rock stability in coal mines. The ground stress of Qianyingzi Coal Mine is measured by the hollow inclusion stress-relief method. Then distribution law of ground stress field is obtained. The result shows that the stress concentrates near the big fault can affect the size and the orientation of stress obviously, and the whole field is divided into three areas. The horizontal ground stress is the major principal stress in Qianyingzi Coal Mine, which can affect the orientation of roadway driving obviously.
