Abstract: Coal fires are likely to cause with a Large Number of Casualty and the important hidden danger of accident enlarge,and the complexity and risk of fire extinguishing also are difficult problem for technology experts. According to the characteristics of CO₂ and fire-fighting practice research, it promote more scientific application. By using CO₂ deal with coal fires, especially it takes CO₂ injection measures to close fire zone, also it prevents the explosion, from the active fire fighting to active pre-control, ensures to provide new ideas on fire safety aspects with important guiding significance. This paper introduces the CO₂ new extinguishing technologies on solving some coal fires, especially liquid CO₂ extinguishing technology, gas-liquid mixed injection, by injecting CO₂ to inert disaster first, and then closing far distance fire zone and research on thinking,dynamic CO₂ fire extinguishing under the proper ventilation technology. In a word ,we hope to take the initiative pre-controlled CO₂ fire extinguishing technology in order to find to find a new way for safe and efficient handling mine fire accident and provide reference for the majority mine technical personnel on rescue work.
