Abstract: Coal mine safety instruments play an important role in the coal mine detection and monitoring of toxic and hazardous gases, environmental conditions and other aspects. This paper focuses on the development process of coal mine instruments, inductively analyzes current operating conditions and plays closely attation to the affecting factors of the several typical instruments in the practical application. The results show that the coal mine safety instrument should be developed in the aspectsof safety, stability, practicality perspective.
