Abstract:
The geometry model was set up by using FDS which simulated the inverted ventilation situation when the fire source was in the working face or intake airway, the paper studied the temperature field, smoke spread, and the visibility. The simulation results showed that it's necessary to adopt the anti-wind measures in time when the fire source was in the intake airway, it can effectively control the smoke to spread to the downwind, and is benefit to the evacuation, and prevents ravage expansion.
