Abstract:
Considering the influence of different yield criterions on plastic zone, the Mohr-Coulomb yield criterion and the Drucker-Prager yield criterion were used as plastic condition of roadway surrounding rock, and the analytical solutions of plastic zone radius and displacement were calculated. The studies show that different yield criterions have significant effects on plastic zone radius and displacement. At the same time, the plastic zone radius and displacement based on Mohr-Coulomb criterion and Drucker-Prager yield criterions were analyzed and compared according to different cohesion, internal friction angles, in-situ stress and support resistance. The results show that under the same conditions, the plastic zone radius and displacement based on Drucker-Prager 3 criterion are largest, and based on Drucker-Prager 1 criterion are minimum, Drucker-Prager 2 criterion are close to those based on Mohr-Coulomb criterion.
