Abstract:
In order to determine the mining height of fully-mechanized face with large mining height, the mining height of 3
#coal seam was designed in this mine. Through numerical simulation analysis, it was obtained that with the increase of the mining height, the maximum horizontal displacement of the coal wall gradually increased. Therefore, by taking into account the specific conditions of this mine, the mining height 6.8m of working face was determined, and the effect of engineering practice was good. Because coal wall rib spalling was inevitable in fully-mechanized face with large mining height, aiming at the enhancement and improvement of coal wall stability in this mine, several control measures and suggestions of coal wall rib spalling were proposed.
