Abstract: From the requirements of coal and gas outburst with ground stress as main, considering the safety and economy of outburst prediction indexes of working face, the paper analyzed the component of drilling cuttings weight and determination situation of its critical value. And application practice was carried out in Tieshenggou Coal Mine.
