Abstract:
Based on the problem of coal dust pollution in the open-air coal stocking yard, the hydrogel with interpenetrating double network structure (PVA-XG-AA) was prepared by using the hydrogen bonding between polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), xanthan gum (XG) and acrylic acid (AA). The wetting effect was further enhanced by adding surfactant (SDBS), and an environment-friendly double network hydrogel dust suppressant (PVA-XG-AA/SDBS) integrating wetting and bonding was prepared. Through surface tension test and permeability test, it was found that PVA-XG-AA/SDBS had better wettability than the traditional polyacrylic acid hydrogel dust suppressant (PAA). The environmental protection of PVA-XG-AA/SDBS was verified through corrosion resistance experiments and industrial analysis of pulverized coal before and after spraying PVA-XG-AA/SDBS. The results showed that PVA-XG-AA/SDBS had no significant impact on metals (copper, iron) and coal quality.
